Part 2: Where To Find Your Affiliates

In our recent articles we covered basics of affiliate marketing and even more importantly places where to promote your products and campaigns. Knowing the best places for publishing is just one side of whole story. To succeed, you would need to consider how your post would look like. Without further ado – let’s do it. We are going to present you important tips and guidelines about writing promotional posts.

1. Do Not Underestimate Power Of Google

This one seems obvious and simple, but it is more important than you could ever imagine. If you are looking for best keywords or ways how to describe your product or campaign, Google is the place where you start. Simply enter a keyword followed by a blank and look at the ten words that Google suggests. These are the words that people are searching information for. Now you know what phrases you need to use in your campaign or product description. Give people exactly what they are looking for.

2. Use Different Formats On The Same Type Of Content

Posting one link to your campaign description or blog post to Facebook is no magic bullet. Social media space is where you need to be smart. Tearing your content into smaller pieces is simple but highly effective method to reach broader audience. Do not post the whole story at once. Build a momentum and use Facebook and Twitter to share just parts of your post. You can encourage one of the most basic human instincts – curiosity. Add infographics here and there to spice things up and you are golden.

3. Include Testimonials And Real Stories Of Happy Users

Putting lists of people or companies as the part of main content in your blog post or product description would add ever important relevance to your content. Most people and companies love the publicity and surely they will be glad that you mentioned them in your posts as it helps them as well. Be aware that the content attached to their personalities and brands have to be 100% true and relevant to your topic. Be transparent and never put your integrity away.

4. Bake The Promotion Right Into Your Post

Do not just create the content and then contemplate about how you are going to promote it to broader audience. Think about who it will be attractive to, how you’re going to tell them about it, and what will make it easy to share, right when you are writing your posts. You will avoid shooting blank bullets into internet space this way. Do your research, find influencers and trending topics and then – go with the flow.

5. Call To Action

Just before publishing your article, ensure that your post has some kind of call to action. Think twice about what you want readers to do once they have spent their precious time reading your post.  Bring up your sign-up form for ongoing affiliate campaign, leave a space for comments, provide your eBook for free and make sharing as seamless and effortless as possible. You really need to dedicated social media buttons right under your content.

6. Create Great Visuals For Every Piece Of Content

Content with visuals gets 94 percent more views – this is a simple fact you need to take into consideration. Never ever rely on plain text format, as it will immediately downgrade your post no matter how good it is. Make sure that your post has to contain at least title image and some screenshots. We strongly encourage you to go even further and add GIFs, infographics, icons and in general – play around with visuals. Make sure that your post looks great, is easy to read and has a tasteful design.
